We struggle with feeling lost, hopeless, anxious, and fearful. We lose track of who we are and where we are going. As a therapist, Jeanette values walking alongside her clients during these moments. Our life story often doesn’t work out the way we had predicted. Someone passes away too soon, the birth of a child is traumatic instead of bringing joy, you or a spouse struggles with infertility instead of becoming a parent, fear and anxiety grips you, or intense depression pulls you into the depths of a hole that you feel you cannot climb out from and escape.
Jeanette is an Attachment-based therapist who has been practicing since 2016 and specializes in perinatal mental health and reproductive mental health. She has counseled both moms and dads through the infertility journey, miscarriages, anxiety during pregnancy, depression during pregnancy, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum obsessive-compulsive disorder, birth trauma, and parenting challenges.

is working with moms and dads who are struggling with postpartum mood disorders such as Postpartum Anxiety and Postpartum Depression. She enjoys being able to support them while they step into this new part of their life and work through the joys and struggles of parenting. She is also passionate about working with families who are struggling with infertility and the disappointment and sadness that comes when becoming a parent takes a different path than you had planned. Additionally, Jeanette enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families as they grow in their relationships with each other and navigate the different mental health concerns that may present themselves during those times in life.
Jeanette teaches skills that help parents navigate the journey of parenthood. Jeanette believes that every person has a meaningful, authentic story to share. Furthermore, she believes in exploring each client’s story and brings her own authentic story into the therapy process. Throughout her story, Jeanette has experienced challenges in her own journey of parenthood. She incorporates her own story as well as clinical knowledge, skills, and training to support her clients. Through her approach, clients have shared that they no longer feel alone and have expressed gratitude for her empathy towards them. Jeanette facilitates mother baby support groups that build connections with moms.
Additionally, Jeanette has experience in counseling children ages 5 to 17. Jeanette has knowledge about child development, child mental health, interventions for children, and Positive Parenting Solutions. Jeanette incorporates this experience and knowledge in her sessions with parents to help them be able to support their children.
Jeanette is a mother of 2 children with special needs. She has learned through her own parenting experience and has researched different interventions to help parents support their children. She has knowledge of navigating services and financial support for children with special needs. Jeanette is passionate about helping each person through their journey. She hopes to be able to hear your story and support you in navigating parenthood.
